Terms of Service
The short version
- Free for your first 2 months; the free plan afterwards shows in-app advertisements.
- Your society's data belongs to your society. We never sell or share it.
- Only someone authorised by the society may register it and add residents and guards.
- Either side can end the agreement; on request we export or delete your data.
1. Who these terms bind
By registering a society you confirm that you are its President, Secretary or another member authorised by its committee to enter into this agreement and to provide the details of its residents and guards. "You" means that society; "we" means Ingenious Analytics.
2. The service
Society Security provides a guard mobile app, a resident mobile app and an admin web portal for logging gate entries, requesting resident approval for guests, registering resident vehicles, managing guard shifts, sending notifications, and viewing reports. It is a record-keeping and communication tool — it does not replace physical security, and it does not itself control any gate, barrier or lock.
3. Free plan, advertisements and paid plans
Your first 2 months are free with every feature enabled, and no card is required. After that the society may continue on the free plan or move to a paid plan.
Apps on the free plan display advertisements. This is stated at registration and you accept it as a condition of using the free plan. Advertisements are served without using your residents' personal data for targeting. Paid plans are advertisement-free. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing plan pricing or what a plan includes.
4. Your responsibilities
- Enter only accurate details, and only for people your society is entitled to enrol.
- Tell your residents and guards that their details are held in Society Security, and honour their requests to correct or remove them.
- Keep admin passwords and activation codes confidential; you are responsible for actions taken through your accounts.
- Use the service lawfully — not to harass, profile or surveil individuals beyond legitimate gate management.
- Remove admin access promptly when a committee member leaves.
5. Data ownership and protection
Your society's data remains yours. We use it only to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We do not sell, rent or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
6. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; maintenance, network failures and third-party outages happen. Support is available at support@ingeniousanalytics.com.
7. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to breach or probe the service's security, access another society's data, resell or white-label the service without our written agreement, or use automated means to extract data beyond the features provided.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and ask us to close your society's account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or where required by law — with notice wherever it is practical to give it. On closure we delete or irreversibly anonymise your data as described in the Privacy Policy, after giving you a reasonable opportunity to export it.
9. Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent Indian law permits. We are not liable for any loss, theft, injury or damage occurring at your premises, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, on the free plan, is nil.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes are notified in the portal or app before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. Where the DPDP Act requires fresh consent, we will ask for it explicitly.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [city] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the grievance process in the Privacy Policy being attempted first.
